Job summary

ACRT, Inc. seeks energetic foresters to identify and evaluate trees along utility lines, report findings to clients, and coordinate vegetation clearance crews. You will plan crew activities, negotiate access, and act as a liaison among clients, crews, and customer representatives.

The role supports independent field work in varied terrain with flexible schedules, requiring a forestry or related degree or equivalent experience. Medical and 401(k) benefits included.

Qualifications

• 2 or 4 year degree in forestry, horticulture, environmental science or closely related field OR a high school diploma with 2 years UVM experience.
• ISA Certified Arborist/TRAQ/ISA Utility Specialist preferred.
• Competent with MS Office; GIS data collection experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify, inspect, and evaluate trees and brush along utility lines.
• Submit inspection results to clients with recommendations.
• Plan, direct, and coordinate activities of vegetation clearance crews.
• Discuss and negotiate crew access issues with stakeholders.
• Serve as liaison between clients, crews, and customers.
