Job summary

ACRT, Inc. seeks an experienced Consulting Utility Forester to work outdoors in Indiana. You will identify and evaluate trees along utility lines, submit findings to clients, and coordinate line-clearance crews.

Qualifications

• Degree in forestry, environmental studies, natural resources or related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience in vegetation management is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Identify, inspect, and evaluate trees and brush along utility lines.
• Submit inspection results with recommendations to clients.
• Plan and coordinate activities of line-clearance crews.
• Liaise between clients, crews, and customer stakeholders.
• Discuss and negotiate access issues for line-clearance work.
