Job summary

Skydio seeks a products ambassador to support utility and commercial customers with onsite and remote technical and logistics help. You’ll be the product specialist liaison, ensuring pilots stay in flight and programs scale, while gathering feedback for product teams.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of UAS experience, a background in utilities, and willingness to travel regionally up to 40–60%. FAA Part 107 certification is encouraged to join Skydio’s field operations.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of UAS operations and flight experience.
• Experience in operational, technical, customer-facing success roles.
• Familiarity with utility inspection use cases such as substations and lines.
• Comfort around energized infrastructure, PPE and safety protocols.
• Willingness to travel regionally up to 40–60%.
• FAA Part 107 certification is encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Act as product specialist liaison between Skydio and utility customers.
• Help stand up and scale drone-in-a-box programs and Substation deployments.
• Provide on-site training to customers in maintenance and operation techniques.
• Collaborate with Product and Cloud Ops to reflect customer needs in roadmaps.
• Develop triage and escalation workflows to reduce engineering escalations.
• Stay current with network trends and best practices for Docks and Remote Flight.
