Job summary

The Field Trainer at MP Management #3, LLC is responsible for driving training excellence, operational consistency, and franchisee success across the Marco’s Pizza system. This highly field-focused role partners with Franchisees, Area Representatives, Operations Leaders, Certified Training Stores, and restaurant leadership to support training programs and new store openings.

This position requires extensive travel (about 70%), including overnight trips, to support franchisees and training

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Business Administration or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of three years of leadership experience in restaurant, retail, hospitality, or franchise operations.
• Minimum of two years of experience in training, coaching, facilitation, or field operations support.
• Strong training facilitation, presentation, coaching, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to coach and influence teams to follow standards.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel extensively.

Responsibilities

• Deliver training programs to franchisees, operators, General Managers, restaurant leaders, and team members using classroom, virtual, and hands-on training methods.
• Conduct Train-the-Trainer (TTT) sessions with Certified Training Store leadership to ensure consistent, high-quality training experiences.
• Coach and mentor Certified Training Stores, Brand Ambassadors, franchisees, operators, and restaurant leadership teams.
• Conduct field visits, pop-up visits, and calibration assessments to evaluate trainee progress and training quality.
• Support trainees during the Operational Excellence Lab, including ongoing communication and progress reviews.
• Conduct announced and unannounced Certified Training Store evaluations, certifications, and recertifications.
• Lead training support for new restaurant openings, including activities before, during, and following grand openings.
• Provide full-store training for new restaurant teams, potentially up to 50 team members.
• Partner with franchisees and Operations Leaders to reinforce operational systems, food safety, labor management, guest experience, and brand standards.
• Support development and continuous improvement of training curriculum, materials, job aids, and certification requirements.
• Assist with classroom and field-based training programs to support business needs, scheduling, and coverage.
• Maintain accurate trainee records, certifications, and training reports.
• Support implementation of new programs, systems, processes, and operational initiatives.
• Participate in cross-functional projects to improve training effectiveness and franchisee success.
