Job summary

RoadSafe Traffic Systems seeks a Traffic Control Technician II to set up and take down lane closures, ensuring safety on state highways and roadways. You will operate trucks, drive MOT and TMA vehicles, and manage traffic control equipment under contractor direction.

The role requires 1–3 years of traffic control experience, a valid driver’s license, ability to lift up to 70 pounds, and willingness to travel statewide with some overnight stays.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and pass a background check.
• DOT requirements and drug testing must be passed.
• ATSSA TCT intermediate training is required or must be completed.

Responsibilities

• Set up and take down lane closures on state highways and roadways.
• Redirect traffic for workers or survey crews.
• Transport materials and equipment to job sites using company trucks.
• Install, maintain, and remove traffic safety devices and signs.
• Travel statewide and work nights/weekends as needed.
