Job summary

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience and 2,000 field hours in traffic control.
• Must pass a background check (including motor vehicle records).
• Must pass a drug test and meet federal DOT requirements.

Responsibilities

• Set up and take down lane closures on state highways and roadways.
• Redirect traffic for workers or survey crews.
• Transport materials and equipment to job sites with company trucks.
• Drive MOT and TMA vehicles to protect workers and work zones.
• Install/maintain traffic control devices (signs, cones, boards).
• Monitor the work zone and ensure proper placement of equipment.
