Job summary

A&A Safety, Inc. is seeking a Traffic Control and Safety Technician to support roadway and highway operations. This hands-on role assists with traffic control, pavement marking, and general roadway work while helping maintain safe work zones.

The position involves working across crews, driving to active job sites, and complying with all safety policies. Applicants should have a valid driver’s license and be able to perform outdoors in varying weather.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required; CDL A is a plus.
• Physically demanding work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Union membership may be joined after hiring.
• ATSSA certification a plus but not required.
• High school diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with traffic control operations, including placing, maintaining, and removing traffic control devices such as cones, barrels, signs, and barricades.
• Support pavement marking and line striping crews, including handwork and roadway preparation.
• Perform general labor duties on roadway and highway projects as assigned.
• Prepare, load, and unload trucks, materials, and equipment.
• Drive company vehicles to, from, and on active job sites.
• Perform flagging duties and assist with directing traffic as needed.
• Place and remove pavement markers and assist with roadway striping operations.
• Work as part of various crews, including traffic control, line striping, and general labor, based on project needs.
• Maintain a safe work environment and follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned based on project needs.
