Job summary

A&A Safety, Inc. is seeking a Traffic Control and Safety Technician to support roadway and highway operations. This hands-on role assists with traffic control, pavement marking, and general roadway work while helping maintain safe and compliant work zones.

As a family-owned business, we emphasize teamwork, safety, and delivering high-quality services across crews. A pre-employment drug screen is mandatory and driving record/background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license; CDL a plus but not required.
• Union membership may be joined after hire.
• ATSSA certification(s) a plus but not required.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Assist with traffic control devices placement, maintenance, removal.
• Support pavement marking and line striping crews.
• Perform general labor on roadway and highway projects.
• Prepare, load, unload trucks, materials, and equipment.
• Drive company vehicles to active job sites.
• Perform flagging duties and direct traffic as needed.
• Place and remove pavement markers and assist with roadway striping operations.
• Work with multiple crews per project.
• Maintain a safe work environment and follow safety policies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
