Genuine Parts Company in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Tools and Equipment Technical Sales Specialist to drive Tools and Equipment sales through NAPA stores and end-user accounts within a defined territory.

You will coordinate market-driving programs, build strong customer relationships, and identify opportunities to expand business volume by partnering with store decision makers and distribution teams. Travel up to 75% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Sales management experience in automotive aftermarket or tools.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
• Strong leadership and negotiation abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with CRM and sales analytics tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain customer relationships across NAPA stores and end-user accounts.
• Address customer concerns through discovery and methodical problem solving.
• Convey product information effectively to customers.
• Manage time and set sales priorities within territory based on product knowledge.
• Drive passion for the product, industry, and sales process.
• Identify and convert sales opportunities with store decision makers.
• Coordinate with NAPA T&E account support for orders, tracking, and billings.
