Job summary

BD is seeking an entry-level Sales Support Associate to assist a team of Sales Consultants. You will help achieve sales objectives through targeted customer interaction, training, product ordering, and general sales support across Vascular Access products, focusing on Safety IV Catheters, Accucath, and PowerGlide.

This role requires up to 40% travel, willingness to relocate for Territory Manager positions, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to build lasting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Zero to four years of outside sales experience or equivalency.
• Ability to travel up to 40%.
• Must have good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willingness to relocate for Territory Manager positions.

Responsibilities

• Support Sales Team in the field via field rides to gain exposure and learn the sales process.
• Attend sales training to learn vascular products and provide support to Sales Consultants.
• Protect and grow the Vascular Access Device portfolio, focusing on Safety IV Catheters, Accucath and PowerGlide.
• Provide customers with product information and training.
• Inform customers of pricing, backorders and company policies.
• Conduct in-service training on peripheral access products.
• Collaborate with SC and RBM on planning, prioritizing sales calls and time management.
• Develop thorough knowledge of all peripheral access products.
• Communicate with Territory Manager and District Manager within geography.
• Notify Sales Consultant and Regional Business Manager of significant changes in customer accounts.
• Report customer complaints per VAD procedures.
• Complete all administrative duties promptly.
• Cultivate new and existing customers for long-term relationships.
• Work a flexible schedule and travel to meet VAD customer needs.
