Job summary

BD is a leading global medical technology company seeking an Associate Territory Manager to provide field level support to physicians and clinical staff in the Interventional Surgery division. Expect 80% travel and relocation flexibility as you develop territory responsibilities and drive training and sales activities.

You will coordinate with field sales, plan training events, and support marketing efforts while building strong relationships with hospital staff, surgeons and nurses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field.
• 0–2 years general sales experience preferred.
• Ability to work in an operating room environment.
• Strong interpersonal, oral communication, organizational and planning skills.
• Willing to relocate to fill an open Territory Manager position.
• Ability to travel 80%, including overnight travel.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license with 3 years of driving history and meet auto safety standards.
• Understand needs-analysis approach to sales and contract administration.
• Familiarity with medical and surgical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates with field sales and logistics for training and technical support of clinical cases.
• Prioritizes targeted customers, cases and training events with sales management.
• Develops regional physician proctors for training activities.
• Conducts training and in-servicing for hospital surgery staff and support personnel.
• Supports regional centers of excellence and coordinates physician training seminars with Marketing.
• Maintains relationships with District Manager, Territory Managers and customers.
• Plans sales calls and organizes time for territory coverage with a daily written plan.
