Job summary

Ledcor Technical Services in Rock Springs, WY is seeking a seasoned Field Operations Technician to install, repair and test internet and data services across North America. You will perform MACD tasks on Nokia, Infinera and Ciena equipment, run OTDR tests, and ensure safety, reliability and customer satisfaction while traveling with a company vehicle.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in telecommunications, business installation and service for electronics, appliances, security, and/or cabling.
• Degree or diploma from a technical college would be preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience working in the field independently and thriving in a dynamic environment.
• Clear and efficient verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a highquality, customerfocused service experience to every client
• Resolve customer issues calmly and professionally using effective deescalation techniques
• Perform onsite installation and repair of internet services, copper and fiber cabling, demarc extensions, and rackmounted networking equipment
• Diagnose technical problems and implement solutions, including running new cable, replacing hardware components, and installing data circuits for internet connectivity
• Follow Ledcor's safety standards and ensure proper use of vehicles, tools, and equipment at all times
