Job summary

Uniti seeks a Customer Service Technician to install and repair residential and business services, using test equipment and customer-focused problem solving. You will work both indoors and outdoors, with the possibility of pole climbing and ladder use, while maintaining safety and vehicle readiness.

The role requires basic tech and math skills, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and meet physical requirements. Training and after-hours availability are part of the job.

Qualifications

• Basic technology and math skills are required.
• Must have a valid driver's license and safe driving record.
• Color vision is needed for color-coded cabling.
• Must be able to handle equipment with up to 275 lbs load.
• Must lift up to 50 lbs and work aloft when required.
• Must complete required safety training.
• Able to work day, evening, weekend and holiday hours.
• Willing to respond to after-hours callouts.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair residential and business services (phone, internet, video).
• Train with tools and test equipment for various technologies and networks.
• Recommend products and services that meet customer needs.
• Work in buried and aerial plant; involve pole climbing and ladder use.
• Operate and maintain the company vehicle safely and cleanly.
• Work indoors and outdoors in diverse environments.
• Complete safety training and follow safety standards.
• Report to the Manager of Local Operations.
