Job summary

Uniti’s Customer Service Technician role supports our nationwide telecom network, installing and repairing residential and business services including telephone, internet, and video. You'll train with tools and test equipment, recommend solutions, and work on both buried and aerial plant, using ladders and climbing where required, while safely operating company vehicles and adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with safe driving record.
• Ability to distinguish colors for cable work.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights.
• Willingness to complete safety training and work varying schedules.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair residential and business telecom services (telephone, internet, video).
• Train with tools and test equipment to support diverse network designs.
• Recommend products and services to meet customer needs.
• Work in buried and aerial plant including pole climbing and ladder use.
• Safely operate and maintain company vehicle.
• Work indoors and outdoors and comply with safety standards.
• Report to the Manager of Local Operations.
