Job summary

Spectrum is hiring an Outside Sales Representative to connect with communities and grow adoption of Spectrum’s high-speed data and telecom services. You’ll spend most of your time in the field visiting residential leads, presenting tailored solutions, and closing deals with a strong emphasis on customer needs.

The role requires self-motivation, the ability to work evenings and weekends, and a valid driver’s license for travel.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and listening skills.
• Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Acquire new residential customers by visiting assigned leads and introducing Spectrum’s offerings.
• Conduct consultative needs analyses to tailor product recommendations for each prospective customer.
• Present compelling sales proposals that align with customer needs and Spectrum’s solutions.
• Complete all required sales documentation, including dispositioning, order entry and reporting.
• Achieve monthly sales targets across high-speed data, mobile, landline and video services.
• Monitor competitors’ activities within your territory and communicate relevant information to your manager.
