Job summary

Spectrum is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to connect customers with reliable telecommunication services through face-to-face interactions in the community. You will drive growth by presenting Spectrum’s high-speed data, mobile, landline, and video solutions and by completing all sales documentation.

The role requires travel to assigned territories, evenings and weekends availability, and a proven drive to succeed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent or related work experience
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
• Engaging interpersonal skills and strong communication
• Ability to travel to assigned territories and work evenings/weekends
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Valid driver’s license, car insurance, driving record in good standing

Responsibilities

• Acquire new residential customers by visiting assigned leads and introducing Spectrum’s offerings
• Conduct consultative needs analyses to tailor product recommendations for each prospective customer
• Present compelling sales proposals that align with customer needs and Spectrum’s solutions
• Complete all required sales documentation accurately, including dispositioning, order entry and reporting
• Participate in sales meetings and trainings to support team goals
• Achieve monthly sales targets across high-speed data, mobile, landline, and video services
• Monitor competitors’ activities within your territory and report findings to your manager
