Job summary

T-Mobile is seeking a motivated Field Technician to support our Engineering & Operations team in the Piedmont Triad and NC‑VA border region, covering Winston‑Salem, Greensboro, Madison, Eden and beyond. On‑call coverage may extend to surrounding counties and weekends.

You will apply expertise in radio access networks, backhaul, 5G NR and base station maintenance to improve performance and reliability across a wide area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in Field Operations and wireless telecommunications preferred.
• Strong knowledge of RF, antennas, fiber, backhaul and related systems.
• Ability to work independently across a wide territory.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to resolve network performance issues and outages.
• Manage smaller projects and provide status updates.
• Identify process improvements for maintenance and repair.
• Collaborate on creating job aids and scopes of work.
• Complete required training to stay current with systems and standards.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
