Job summary

T-Mobile is seeking a motivated Field Technician to support our Engineering & Operations team across Western Pennsylvania to Northern West Virginia. The role involves applying technical knowledge to maintain and improve network performance and reliability, with responsibilities spanning technical support, project management, and operational support.

You will cover a wide market, travel to various towns in the Pittsburgh market, and contribute to outages, maintenance, and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree OR combination of education and experience deemed equivalent (Required)
• Acceptable areas of study include Vocational/Technical Training or related field (Preferred)
• 2-4 years - Working experience in Field Operations and maintenance.
• 2-4 years - Wireless telecommunications or other related experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to resolve network performance issues and contribute to outage resolution efforts
• Manage smaller projects or project segments, delivering accurate status and progress updates as required
• Identify and recommend process improvements related to maintenance and repair activities to senior staff and management
• Assist in developing job aids, scopes of work, and procedural documentation in collaboration with senior technicians
• Complete required training to maintain current knowledge of systems, products, and organizational standards
• Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed
