Job summary

T-Mobile in Western Pennsylvania seeks a Field Technician to support Engineering & Operations, maintaining and improving network performance across a wide area, including travel to Northern West Virginia. You will apply technical knowledge to resolve issues, manage small projects, and contribute to process improvements.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 2-4 years in field operations and wireless telecom, plus strong knowledge of RAN, backhaul, 5G NR, and base stations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree OR combination of education and experience deemed equivalent (Required)
• 2-4 years - Working experience in Field Operations and maintenance.
• 2-4 years - Wireless telecommunications or other related experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to resolve network performance issues and contribute to outage resolution efforts
• Manage smaller projects or project segments, delivering accurate status and progress updates as required
• Identify and recommend process improvements related to maintenance and repair activities to senior staff and management
• Assist in developing job aids, scopes of work, and procedural documentation in collaboration with senior technicians
• Complete required training to maintain current knowledge of systems, products, and organizational standards
• Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed
