Job summary

T-Mobile USA, Inc. is seeking a Field Technician to support our Engineering & Operations team in Western Pennsylvania, covering a broad area including Pittsburgh and surrounding towns.

You will apply technical knowledge to maintain and improve network performance and reliability while managing smaller projects and contributing to operational improvements. The role requires independence, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to travel within the market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree OR combination of education and experience deemed equivalent (Required)
• 2-4 years - Working experience in Field Operations and maintenance.
• 2-4 years - Wireless telecommunications or other related experience.
• Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Electronics, RF, and antenna theory.
• Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: RAN architecture and deployment.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to resolve network performance issues and contribute to outage resolution efforts.
• Manage smaller projects or project segments, delivering accurate status and progress updates as required.
• Identify and recommend process improvements related to maintenance and repair activities to senior staff and management.
• Assist in developing job aids, scopes of work, and procedural documentation in collaboration with senior technicians.
• Complete required training to maintain current knowledge of systems, products, and organizational standards.
• Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed.
