Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a field service technician in Fayetteville, AR to install, service, and maintain electromechanical and networking equipment in retail environments. You will perform installations, preventative maintenance, and repairs while traveling within the assigned territory.

Qualifications

Local candidate to specific geographic area.
Authorized to work in the US.
Valid driver’s license and driving record satisfying NCR fleet requirements.
Ability to travel extensively, driving several hours per day.
Availability for rotating and weekend shifts.
Flexibility for morning, afternoon, and evening rotating shifts, including some holidays.
Ability to carry and lift tools, parts, and equipment weighing up to 75 lbs. without assistance and up to 150 lbs. with assistance.
Ability to bend, squat, walk, stand, sit, reach, work with hands, and repetitively grasp and manipulate objects.
Willingness to be trained on and operate small-scale scissor lifts.
PC skills, basic electronic skills, and familiarity with specific hardware and operating systems.

Responsibilities

Perform customer installation, maintenance, and service calls promptly.
Service electromechanical equipment, including self-checkout systems, within an assigned territory.
Perform maintenance, repairs, preventive maintenance work, and system overhauls.
Act as a first-line response to customers and communicate in an open, helpful, and engaging manner.
Organize and triage customer issues and proactively handle potential problems.
Complete formal training to provide customers with needed solutions.
Service or replace networking equipment such as access points or switches in retail environments.
