Job summary

Sparklight, a Cable One brand, is hiring a Field Technician to install customer service drops/outlets in homes and businesses, perform repairs, and relocate equipment as needed. You will learn RF and related test equipment to diagnose issues from the customer’s equipment to the distribution amplifier.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, physical ability to work in tight spaces, and a willingness to work overtime/on-call. Training is provided and safety is emphasized.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• At least 3 months of customer service or related experience/training is preferred.
• Ability to learn RF and electrical testing equipment and interpret data.

Responsibilities

• Install customer service drops or outlets in residential and business properties.
• Troubleshoot and repair reception performance issues using diagnostic tools.
• Ensure proper signal levels and educate customers on equipment usage.
