CompucomStaffing is seeking a Field Technician to support client operations in Anderson, IN. You will ensure reliable POS systems, hardware, networking components, and printers function smoothly.

The role emphasizes strong customer service and clear communication, with tasks spanning installation, repair, upgrades, and on-site training. Travel between locations is required, and you may work evenings or be on call as part of a rotation.

Qualifications

• Customer service and communication under pressure.
• Troubleshoot and repair POS or computer hardware.
• Understand basic networking and restaurant tech environments.
• Perform light contractor tasks and travel between locations.
• Willing to work evenings and participate in on-call rotation.
• Have reliable transportation and training on site.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to clients and staff.
• Install, maintain, troubleshoot POS systems and printers.
• Repair OEM printers using warranty and non-warranty methods.
• Communicate solutions clearly to customers and document work.
• Upgrade/configure hardware and software as needed.
• Perform light wiring, drilling and mounting as required.
• Train employees on supported systems and equipment.
• Diagnose product failures and order parts as needed.
• Recommend products or solutions based on needs.
• Coordinate with team lead or field services manager.
