CompucomStaffing, a division of CompuCom Systems, is seeking a Field Technician to support POS systems, hardware, and printer technology in Carmel, IN. The role emphasizes strong customer service, problem-solving, and precise communication with clients.

The position requires traveling to customer sites, performing installation and repair tasks, and training staff on systems. Evening hours and on-call rotation may be required, with W2 employment and comprehensive benefits provided.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication under pressure.
• Experience troubleshooting POS or computer hardware.
• Basic networking knowledge and familiarity with restaurant tech.
• Ability to perform light physical/contractor tasks.
• Willingness to work evenings and be on-call.
• Reliable transportation for travel between locations.
• Completion of training and network cable termination training.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to clients and staff.
• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair POS systems and printers.
• Assist with OEM printer repairs using warranty and non-warranty approaches.
• Document work, update configurations, and perform hardware/software upgrades.
• Travel to client locations and perform light contractor tasks as needed.
• Train staff on supported systems and ensure seamless integration.
• Report to Team Lead or Field Services Manager.
