Job summary

AMG Tech Support is seeking skilled, driven technicians to support our growing national client base. This hands-on role goes beyond basic helpdesk tasks, involving OS installations, hardware diagnostics, software setup, and extensive structured cabling across buildings.

You will work in diverse environments—retail, medical, restaurant, and corporate—traveling within your territory, staying on-call, and maintaining a high level of professionalism.

Qualifications

• PC and printer troubleshooting experience (a strong plus).
• 1 year IT/Telecom field experience, plus one certification (A+ or Network+) or 5+ years field work.
• Must have a reliable vehicle and valid driver's license.
• Basic IT tools and networking gear (screwdrivers, testers, crimpers).

Responsibilities

• OS installations, hardware diagnostics, and software setup.
• Structured cabling, including drilling and routing cables.
• Telecom work (punch-downs, demarc extensions).
• Work independently across diverse environments (retail, medical, restaurant, corporate).
• Maintain professionalism with clients and respond to service requests in territory.
