Job summary

Socket.dev seeks an on-site IT support professional to assist partners and users at remote locations and via phone. You will leverage Windows, Citrix, and remote tools to diagnose and resolve issues, while documenting site details for your region.

Two to five years of experience in end-user support, plus A+ or MCDST, are desirable. Travel between Columbia, SC and Augusta, GA is required; a strong customer focus and clear communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Two to five years of end-user device support in Windows environments.
• Experience with Citrix and remote support tools.
• A+ Certification and MCDST preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independence on assigned tasks showing technical and organizational proficiency.
• Maintain proper documentation for assigned sites.
• Act as escalation between helpdesk and engineers.
• Learn new tasks and tools quickly.
• Explain solutions to non-technical users clearly.
• Coordinate with partners to complete dispatches.
