Job summary

Midco is seeking a Field Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot services for residential and business customers in Spearfish, SD. Qualifications

• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Complete Midco First Time Right (FTR) certification within 90 days of hire and apply it in all tasks.
• On-site customer interactions and strong problem-solving abilities are required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct technical evaluations of commercial properties for service feasibility and cost estimates.
• Perform installations and service changes at homes and businesses (voice, video, data).
• Troubleshoot and repair services from tap to CPE and ensure proper signal levels and picture quality.
• Liaise between Field Operations and Business Services to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Promote Midco services and educate customers on usage and add-ons.
• Provide technical guidance on network extensions and bury drop requirements.
• Deliver high-quality service, address concerns, and handle difficult situations.
