Job summary

Midco is seeking a Field Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot services for residential and business customers in the Huron, SD area. You will work with cutting-edge technology and deliver outstanding customer experiences while helping customers get the best value for their needs.

The role requires a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and completion of Midco’s FTR certification within 90 days.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Complete Midco First Time Right (FTR) certification within 90 days of hire and apply principles at work.

Responsibilities

• Conduct technical evaluations of commercial properties for service feasibility.
• Perform installation tasks including voice, video, and data services at homes and businesses.
• Troubleshoot and repair services from tap to CPE and fix signal issues.
• Coordinate with Field Operations and Business Services to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Promote Midco’s services and educate customers on proper use and add-ons.
• Log all required information on work orders and referrals to track requests.
