Job summary

Midco is seeking a Field Technician in the Rapid City, SD area to install, maintain and troubleshoot residential and commercial services. You will perform voice, video and data installations, diagnose issues, and ensure customer satisfaction.

The role requires travel to customer sites, ladder work, lifting up to 80 lbs, and strict safety adherence. On-call duties and occasional extended hours may be needed.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Must complete Midco First Time Right (FTR) certification within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Conduct accurate and comprehensive technical evaluations of properties for service feasibility.
• Perform installation tasks including voice, video, and data, in homes and businesses.
• Troubleshoot and repair services from tap to CPE, ensure signal quality.
• Act as liaison between Field Operations and Business Services to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Promote Midco services and educate customers on proper use.
• Log information on work orders, surveys, and referrals.
• Mentor and train team members; cross-train on additional services.
• Maintain a clean workspace; perform on-call duties; travel as needed.
• Adhere to safety program, wear PPE, and operate equipment safely.
• Drive company vehicle per policies; maintain vehicle.
• Model Midco's mission and values; protect customer privacy.
