Job summary

Midco in the United States is seeking a Field Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot TV, data, and voice services for residential and commercial customers. You will perform installations, repairs, and proactive maintenance, ensuring optimal signal levels and customer satisfaction.

The role requires on-site travel within SD and surrounding areas, with potential after-hours work and on-call duties. Safety, accurate documentation, and excellent customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Complete Midco First Time Right (FTR) certification within 90 days of hire and consistently apply principles in all aspects of work.

Responsibilities

• Install voice, video, and data services at homes and business locations.
• Perform service changes and disconnects, and troubleshoot from tap to CPE.
• Maintain safety, quality, and customer satisfaction during every job.
• Log all work orders, surveys, and referrals; ensure accurate records.
• Mentor and train other team members as required, and cross-train on additional services.
• Occasionally travel and work beyond standard hours as business demands.
