Job summary

WSI Technologies is seeking a hands-on Field Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot systems across customer sites in North Carolina. You’ll work independently in the field, rotating between on-site deployments and remote work between visits.

The role requires strong Windows OS experience, hardware/software/network troubleshooting, and ITSM familiarity. Travel up to 80–85% is required; a company vehicle and gas card are provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in CS/Engineering/Math/Business or related field.
• Experience supporting Windows desktops and servers.
• Strong troubleshooting across hardware, software and network issues.
• Experience with ITSM or ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow).
• Ability to travel up to 80–85% and pass government site clearance/background checks.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure WSI systems on-site at customer locations.
• Rack, cable, configure, and test hardware in data centers and telecom environments.
• Configure Windows desktops/servers, including virtual environments.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues.
• Respond to service requests within SLA and manage tickets independently.
• Document installations and resolutions accurately in the ticketing system.
