Job summary

WSI Technologies is seeking a hands-on Field Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot systems across customer sites in North Carolina. The role is field-based with hybrid flexibility and requires extensive travel.

You will install and configure servers and recording infrastructure, test installations, and manage service tickets while maintaining clear communication with customers and following SLAs. Overtime may apply based on availability and location.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting Windows desktop and server environments.
• Strong troubleshooting across hardware, software, and network connectivity.
• Familiarity with ITSM or ticketing tools such as ServiceNow.
• Ability to travel 80–85% and pass government site background checks.
• Able to climb ladders and lift up to 70 lbs during installations.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure WSI systems on-site, including servers and recording infrastructure.
• Rack, cable, configure and test hardware in data centers and telecom environments.
• Test installations and confirm requirements before sign-off.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues.
• Document installations and troubleshooting steps in the ticketing system.
