Job summary

Cable One, Inc. is hiring a Field Technician in Rolla, MO to install customer service drops and outlets in homes and small businesses.

You will use diagnostic tools and test equipment to troubleshoot reception issues and ensure proper signal levels from the customer’s equipment to the distribution point. The position offers extensive training, a company truck and tools, uniforms, and a comprehensive benefits package including PTO, medical, 401(k) match, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• A good driving record and a valid driver’s license in the state you are applying.
• Able to lift up to 80 lbs, work on a ladder, and perform in all weather conditions.
• At least 3 months of customer service or related experience and/or training.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Install customer service drops or outlets in residential and business properties.
• Use electronic test equipment and diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and repair issues.
• Ensure proper upstream and downstream signal levels at each termination.
• Educate customers on new or existing equipment and potential upgrades.
