Job summary

Cable One, Inc. is seeking a Field Technician in Idaho Falls to install and service residential and commercial connections, with training through a structured program and a company truck and tools provided.

You’ll work with customers, learn diagnostic tools, climb ladders, lift up to 100 lbs, and travel regionally as needed; benefits include PTO, health, 401k match, tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
• Willing to overtime and on-call as needed.
• Strong problem solving and customer-oriented communication.
• 3+ months of customer service or related experience.
• HS diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs, climb ladders, and work in all weather.
• Regular and predictable attendance required.
• Occasional regional travel; per diem provided.

Responsibilities

• Install customer service drops or outlets in residential and business properties.
• Use test equipment and diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and repair.
• Maintain proper upstream/downstream signal levels at terminations.
• Educate customers on new/existing equipment and upgrades.
• Take on additional duties to support company goals.
