Job summary

Sparklight, a Cable One brand, is hiring a Field Technician to install services and perform repairs for residential and commercial customers in Biloxi, MS. You’ll use RF and volt-ohm meters to troubleshoot and ensure optimal signal levels, while educating customers on equipment use and potential upgrades.

The ideal candidate has a good driving record, 3+ months in customer service, and the ability to lift up to 80 lbs, work on ladders, and tolerate various weather conditions.

Qualifications

• At least 3 months of customer service or related experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install customer service drops or outlets in residential and business properties.
• Diagnose and repair reception performance issues using RF, digital meters and diagnostic tools.
• Ensure proper upstream and downstream signal levels at customer premises.
• Educate customers on equipment use and potential upgrades.
• Perform other duties to support company goals and commitments.
