Job summary

Electric Power Systems (EPS) is seeking a Field Technician III to lead field crews in advanced testing and maintenance of substation equipment across North America. The role focuses on safety, documentation, and technical leadership in commissioning and field operations.

Ideal candidates have a 5+ year background in electrical testing, NETA III certification, and a degree in Electrical/Electronic technology or relevant military experience, with willingness to travel and work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Electrical/Electronic technology, or military experience preferred.
• 5+ years in the industry.
• NETA III certified; additional certifications encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Lead field crews and supervise testing, inspection, and maintenance of high/medium/low voltage equipment.
• Perform advanced testing and diagnostics on breakers, transformers, switchgear, and related systems.
• Ensure safety compliance and proper documentation of field activities.
