Job summary

Electric Power Systems (EPS) is seeking a Field Technician III to lead field crews in advanced testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of substation equipment across North America. You will support commissioning, safety compliance, and project teams while delivering reliable field outcomes.

The role requires travel, overtime, and strong communication skills; a degree in Electrical/Electronic Technology or military experience is preferred, with NETA III certification and related qualifications

Qualifications

• Pre-employment drug screen required for safety sensitive role.
• Background check required and satisfactory.
• Ability to overtime and travel as needed.
• Must maintain valid driver's license and driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead field crews and perform advanced testing and maintenance on high/medium/low voltage equipment.
• Troubleshoot complex electrical and control systems using schematics and diagrams.
• Support installation, commissioning, and functional testing activities.
• Coordinate daily field activities with engineers and project teams.
• Mentor junior technicians and ensure safety compliance on site.
