Job summary

Smartlink is seeking a Field Technician II to support wireless telecommunications infrastructure projects across in-building systems, rooftops, and tower sites in New Hampshire, Vermont, or Maine. You will install, test, and maintain equipment, work with fiber installation activities including pulling, dressing, and testing, and contribute hands-on expertise in a fast-paced team.

The role requires strong teamwork, customer-facing skills, documentation discipline, and the ability to manage site

Qualifications

• Minimum of four years of related experience or technical training.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools used in telecom installs.

Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, integrate, program, maintain, decommission, and repair wireless telecom equipment and systems.
• Install and manage cabling (CAT5/6, fiber), routers, power and data lines through conduits and trays.
• Lead projects when required and maintain trackers with status updates.
• Perform testing and validation using test equipment and document results.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies, OEM specs, and customer requirements.
• Fabricate and label cables/connectors to standards; deliver excellent customer service.
• Maintain project files, trackers, and timely communication with management.
• Provide training and guidance to teammates as needed.
