Job summary

Smartlink LLC is seeking a Technician II for our Technology Solutions Division to support wireless telecommunications infrastructure across in-building systems, rooftops, and minor tower sites. This role emphasizes teamwork, customer service, and hands-on fiber installation activities including pulling, dressing, and project closeouts.

The ideal candidate has strong experience with fiber testing and can operate test equipment while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

Four years of related experience and/or technical training.
Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
Experience with fiber installation, testing, and DC power installation is preferred.

Responsibilities

Install, assemble, integrate, program, maintain, decommission, and repair wireless equipment and systems.
Pull fiber, dress cables, terminate and label connections to standards.
Lead projects when required and provide status updates to management.
Test and validate using multiple test equipment and ensure safety compliance.
Deliver excellent customer service to internal and external teams.
Maintain project files, trackers, and timely documentation.
Provide training on policies and procedures to teammates.
Travel locally (>75%) to support sites.
