Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training is a plus.
• 0–3 years of field-based outdoor or physically demanding work preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record; ability to operate company vehicles.
• OSHA safety awareness and PPE use; willingness to obtain certifications if needed.
• Ability to read, interpret blueprints and technical documents.
• Proficient with basic computer tasks and Field Data Collection tools.
• Willingness to travel extensively to job sites.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field and laboratory testing of soil, concrete, asphalt, aggregate, and other materials.
• Collect, label, and transport samples to laboratories for testing.
• Ensure testing requirements meet project specs and regulatory guidelines.
• Prepare detailed reports, logs, and documentation of test results.
• Maintain testing equipment per safety and manufacturer guidelines.
• Document observations and site conditions accurately in reports.
• Communicate updates with dispatch, supervisors, and project managers.
• Adhere to project timelines and schedules; meet deadlines.
• Adapt to changing project needs and weather conditions.
• Participate in training and certification programs as required.
• Follow OSHA regulations and PPE guidelines to maintain safety.
• Operate and maintain an assigned company vehicle and keep it clean.
