Job summary

Orange Barrel Media is hiring a Field Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain IKE kiosks nationwide. The role partners with the Regional Technical Supervisor, handling field work, remote diagnostics, and required repairs across regions.

The ideal candidate has electronics knowledge, experience with test devices, and the ability to analyze field data. Hybrid work with travel and administrative duties is required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of electronics and experience with software-controlled equipment and test devices.
• Ability to read specs and diagnose hardware/software using test devices.
• Comfort analyzing data from field inspections, technician reports, and systems data.
• Familiarity with a digital multimeter (DMM).
• Knowledge of computer hardware and LCD screens is a plus.
• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair IKE hardware and software in field and remote locations.
• Perform preventive maintenance, upgrades, and emergency repairs.
• Collaborate with Regional Technical Supervisor on major repairs.
• Monitor kiosks via dashboards and logs, escalating issues appropriately.
• Follow procedures for repairs, ticketing, and inventory management.
• Join daily briefings with supervisors and operations staff.
• Ensure right parts and tools are available for assignments.
• Interact with technicians, city staff, and contractors as needed.
