Job summary

Lumen is seeking a Field Technician I to support enterprise customers by installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and restoring network services in the field. This entry‑level role is designed for individuals who are eager to learn, enjoy hands-on technical work, and are interested in building a long‑term career in telecommunications.

Through structured training, you will develop skills to independently support customer and network operations in the Bellevue market.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, or up to 2 years relevant experience.
• Basic networking knowledge and interest in telecommunications technology.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a company vehicle.
• Ability to work in field environment and perform physical tasks.
• Willingness to work overtime and participate in on-call rotation.
• Strong communication and customer-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and restore network equipment in the field.
• Install, activate, test, and maintain network services and CPE.
• Support next‑gen technologies (Edge Compute, Wavelength, Fiber, Ethernet, IP).
• Travel to customer sites to perform field service work.
• Participate in on-call rotation and outage response.
