Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or up to 2 years of relevant job experience including 1+ years network monitoring, installation, or maintenance/repair.
• Basic networking knowledge and an interest in telecommunications technology.
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate a company vehicle.
• Ability to work in a field environment, including climbing, crouching, lifting, and other physical job requirements.
• Strong learning aptitude, work ethic, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work overtime and participate in an on‑call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots network equipment, removes/replaces defective equipment, and isolates issues to restore service.
• Assists in installation/change/decommission and testing of next generation technologies (Edge Compute, Wavelength, Fiber Optic, Ethernet, IP).
• Install, activate, test, and maintain network services and telecommunications equipment.
• Travel to customer and network locations to complete field service work.
• Support outage response and service restoration efforts, including on‑call rotation.
• Deliver a positive customer experience through professional communication and technical support.
• Follow safety procedures in a physically demanding field environment.
• Collaborate with team members and participate in ongoing training and development programs.
