Job summary

Weaver Consultants Group in Naperville, IL is seeking an Entry Level Field Technician (CQA/QA) to monitor construction activities at solid waste landfill facilities, perform soil and geosynthetic liner testing, and document field observations.

You will support QA/QC tasks across multiple sites, coordinate with project managers and client representatives, and help prepare data and reports while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 6 months of relevant experience in CQA or field positions.
• Good written and spoken communication skills.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office and basic computer apps.
• Willing to work independently or in a team.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and pass a motor vehicle review.
• Valid driver’s license and clean MVR.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and document construction activities at landfill facilities.
• Supervise QA/QC activities and assist on site with testing and observations.
• Perform field or lab testing of soils, aggregates, concrete, and steel.
• Communicate results to project managers and client representatives.
• Transport samples to the laboratory and prepare reports.
• Maintain equipment and adhere to safety standards.
• Support training and progressive responsibility on projects.
