Job summary

Teamprovide seeks an Engineering Technician to monitor construction at solid waste landfill facilities, perform field and lab testing, and document QA across multiple States. This role requires 90-95% on-site travel and provides a company car, food allowance, and lodging during travel.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 6 months of CQA/field experience.
• Good communication, writing, and organization skills.
• Proficient with basic computer apps (MS Office).
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Valid driver\'s license with clean MVR.
• Experience in landfill, solid waste or gas industry.
• Construction QA/documentation experience.
• Running field tests.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and document construction activities at landfill facilities, including field testing of soils and liners.
• Supervise QA/QC activities across multiple states and landfill components.
• Perform field or laboratory testing of construction materials (soils, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, steel).
• Communicate testing results with project managers, clients, and contractors.
• Transport samples to laboratories for testing and analysis.
• Prepare daily reports and observations for project managers.
• Maintain and clean equipment, vehicles, and work areas.
• Adhere to safety standards and report issues.
• Assist with tasks and basic testing under supervision.
• Provide clear documentation of findings.
• Follow safety rules and pre-task planning.
