Job summary

Weaver Consultants Group in Collinsville, IL seeks a Field Technician to monitor and document construction activities at landfill facilities, perform soil, aggregate, concrete, asphalt testing, and report findings to the project manager. Travel 50%+ with lodging provided.

You will operate sampling equipment such as Geoprobe and pumps, collect groundwater, leachate, surface water, and soil samples, and adhere to OSHA HAZWOPER guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; associate degree preferred.
• 1–2 years of field sampling experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to travel out of town for project assignments at least 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and document construction activities at landfills, including field inspection and testing.
• Perform field and laboratory testing of soils, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, and steel.
• Prepare data and observations for daily reports to the Project Manager.
• Maintain safety standards and use on-site equipment safely.
