Job summary

T-Mobile is seeking a Field Technician in the Denver area to maintain and improve network performance and reliability across the Denver market. The role covers technical support, project management, and operational support, requiring independence and broad site coverage.

Applicants should have knowledge of radio access networks, backhaul, signaling, disaster recovery, data services, and location-based services, with a focus on 5G NR and RAN.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree OR combination of education and experience deemed equivalent.
• Acceptable areas of study include Vocational/Technical Training or related field (Preferred)
• 2-4 years - Working experience in Field Operations and maintenance.
• 2-4 years - Wireless telecommunications or other related experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to resolve network performance issues and contribute to outage resolution efforts
• Manage smaller projects or project segments, delivering accurate status and progress updates as required
• Identify and recommend process improvements related to maintenance and repair activities to senior staff and management
• Assist in developing job aids, scopes of work, and procedural documentation in collaboration with senior technicians
• Complete required training to maintain current knowledge of systems, products, and organizational standards
• Develop yourself through continuous learning - completing training requirements to stay current on existing and new systems and product in order to grow skills and to expand proficiency in alignment with organizational values and requirements.
• Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed
