Job summary

PowerSecure, Inc. seeks an experienced Service Technician for commercial generators in the Myrtle Beach area. You will perform maintenance and repair on generator and power distribution equipment, and provide technical support to customers on operating and maintenance aspects.

The role requires travel to customer sites, on-call availability, and strict adherence to safety standards. You will work with Woodward, Beckwith, and PLC-based controls, and mentor junior technicians as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Military experience or related field experience is a plus.
• Strong understanding of electrical controls and reading schematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on generator systems and switchgear.
• Provide on-site technical support and customer interface.
• Coordinate on-site subcontractors and maintain documentation.
