Job summary

Southern Company in Myrtle Beach seeks a Service Technician – Commercial Generators to handle maintenance and repairs of generator and power distribution equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial generators and battery storage equipment and will provide on-site technical support to customers.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of field experience servicing generator systems for Level II.
• 6 years for Level III with extensive experience on 500kw+ systems.
• 10 years for Level IV with expertise in preventative maintenance and load banking.

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing maintenance and repair of power distribution equipment.
• Provide technical support to customers on operational or maintenance aspects.
• Conduct 24x7 on-call services as required.
