Job summary

Cable One is seeking a proactive Field Technician to install customer service drops and outlets in residential and business sites. You will troubleshoot using RF meters and diagnostic tools, ensuring signal integrity and customer satisfaction.

The role requires physical work, driving, and occasional overtime. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and at least 3 months of customer service experience.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 3 months of customer service or related experience/training.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Able to lift up to 80 lbs, climb ladders, and work in all weather conditions.
• Willing to work overtime and be on-call as needed.

Responsibilities

• Install customer service drops or outlets for residential and business properties.
• Troubleshoot and repair service drops using RF testing equipment and diagnostic tools.
• Ensure proper upstream/downstream signal levels at each termination.
• Educate customers on equipment usage and potential upgrades.
• Perform safety procedures and maintain reliable service for customers.
